Documentation handling

Papers that travel with the steel

Shipping record

Bills of lading

Bills of lading are checked against the packing list, quantity and consignee details so cargo documents match the material on board.

Origin record

Certificates of origin

Origin certificates are issued for each supplier market so customs teams can confirm where each flat steel lot was produced.

Inspection record

Inspection sheets and mill test records

Inspection sheets and mill test certificates are reviewed against the ordered grade, thickness, width and coating before the lot is released.

Verification standards

Aligned with global benchmarks

Chemical composition and mechanical results are compared against ASTM, JIS, EN and IS specifications, so each grade is checked against the standard it is ordered under. Dimensional tolerances for thickness and width are measured on sampled coils before packing.

Physical packaging standards cover coil protection, moisture barriers, strapping and labelling, so flat steel arrives in the condition it left the mill. Import-export regulatory documents are prepared alongside the shipment plan to support clear cross-border passage.
